Following a passion for languages, Manisha started her career as a translator and interpreter and went on to become a French teacher in Massachusetts. After a few years in the classroom, Manisha joined a Boston-based start-up where she helped pioneer high-quality products and services for the life science and healthcare industries.
Manisha’s love for travel took her to Singapore in 2013, where she joined the Lien Centre for Palliative Care, at the Duke-NUS Medical School. The opportunity to serve health care professionals by developing innovative and engaging educational programs using the blended learning model was an immensely rewarding experience. “The close contact with palliative care work was life-changing,” says Manisha. “It was also a great opportunity to enjoy dim sums and travel some more in Asia!”
A Harvard Macy scholar, Manisha strongly believes in the blended learning design for healthcare education. She is convinced that healthcare institutions can offer more robust programs for the future generations by integrating technology meaningfully into their teaching and learning experiences. Manisha is excited to be part of the dynamic team at LCMS Plus adding value to healthcare programs around the world by encouraging the best practices in the use of education technology.
While life started in Mumbai, Boston was home for many years. And after Singapore, Manisha is now exploring the beautiful South with her husband and two young girls. Given a choice on a Friday night, Manisha will always opt for the movies!
